Web Social Manager Coordinator

Position:  Web Social Media Coordinator

Direct Report/Supervisor: Media Inc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Following is an overview of the duties that the WEB-SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR must coordinate, organize and execute:

  • Create social media sites for GospelTV that includes Facebook, Youtube Channel, Instagram and other appropriate sites. 
  • Promote the programs, events, news at GospelTV and to gain followers on each site.
  • Gather promotional photos of each program and develop a brief synopsis/biography of each program/hosts for promotional purposes
  • Develop content for social media with the direction of the President, Senior Vice President
  • Develop a Plan, gather information and organize the GospelTV website that is functional, for both the regular programs and the Kids Programming, provides all program information, resources and streams daily program schedule.
  • Sets-up and Maintains GospelTV presence on social media which includes Facebook, Instagram and similar media.
  • Develops targeted content for posting on social media platforms updating members/followers on news and events and programs at GospelTV.
  • Coordinates the look and content of the GospelTV website.  Upload all approved updates and new content.
  • Take photos, interviews and attend events as necessary to gather content for social media and web posting.
  • Develop press releases, media relationships and media lists for various announcements, new programs and events at GospelTV.
  • Develop GospelTV identity/standards manual
  • Work with various in-house producers to promoted productions as well as promote the hosts of various programs broadcast.
  • Grow the GospelTV audience base for social media

Qualifications:

Proven Track record building websites.

Diploma in Web designs and coding

Knowledge of SEO procedures for website
